DISPLAYS FOR MONDAYS 2010Unlike most museums in Berlin, the DEUTSCHE GUGGENHEIM opens on mondays – offering even free entry. For a special product range and catalogues being sold on mondays only, two displays were built – reflecting their temporary usage in the form of piled up boxes.

NEW NATIONAL GALLERY PRODUCTS 2008A new product range for the NEW NATIONAL GALLERY BERLIN. Amongst others: a laptopsleeve, looking like a pile of Mies van der Rohes construction plans and a memory showing architectural details of his masterpiece.

PACKING UP KLEE 2008The packaging of a painters smock for children, designed to be reused as a folder and a frame for the childs artwork. The chalk pack takes up the theme of the frame, uncovered squares of coloured chalk quote a familiar motif of Klees oeuvre.

SUPPORT FOR A NIGHT 2008Two times a year, the Berlin museums stay open 24 hours. A fusion of a bag and a cushion accompanied the visitors of the DEUTSCHE GUGGENHEIM through the night, offering refreshment, enlightenment and a comfortable seat.

OBSERVING DIFFERENT NEEDS 2008Who uses what and why? How do people get along with their environment? What do they require? A research about everyday objects and needs of three women and three men, all of different age and circumstances in life.

NEW LOOKS FOR A CLASSIC 2008PENSION FÜR PRODUKTE invited to think about visual refreshment of the classic ceramic vaporisator. A cluster of blue squares, a teabag and a white stripe illustrate the warm water inside and the inclination of the hook.

FRENCH EXPRESSIONISTS PRODUCTS 2007In Summer 2007, the METROPOLITAN MUSEUM OF ART NEW YORK loaned its collection of French expressionists to the NEW NATIONAL GALLERY BERLIN. The museum shop was equipped with a product range especially designed for the occasion. The objects pick up the corporate design of the exhibition and mirror contents of the shown masterpieces such as the picnic in the green, wildlife en plein air and the french cuisine.
